(Note-The following is based on an alternate timeline ideal)
Background/History
Richard Grayson was born into the circus, his family being the famous Flying Grayson’s. While performing in Gotham City, his dad was confronted by a local gangster and was told to pay protection money, which the proud father abjectly refused,. The gangster warned that there would be consequences and left.
That night, with Gotham’s finest in attendance, the Flying Grayson’s performed their trapeze act, without a net as they normally did. Unbeknownst to all attendance, the gangster had returned with his henchman and had purposely sabotaged the trapeze equipment, loosening a few choice screws. During their act, the Grayson’s fell to their death, much to the horror of those in attendance, Young Dick was helpless atop of the stand and witnessed the whole thing,.
With no family or friends to care for the boy, he seemed destined to live a life in and out of foster care. The billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne, out of sympathy of having lost his own family and witnessing their deaths, took Grayson in as his ward, giving him access to the finest education money could buy.
All was not well with the young boy though, He knew the gangster who harassed his dad had something to do with their deaths, he just couldn’t prove it. Then there was the matter of Bruce being gone all the time,, particularly at night. Where did he go and what did he do? Dick was determined to find out. One night, he was going downstairs for a late night snack when he saw Wayne dashing into his study. As quietly as he could, he followed the billon are and watched as Bruce opened up a bookcase, disappearing behind it into what appeared to be a secret tunnel. He quickly reacted, kicking off his house shoe and sliding it across the floor, stopping the bookcase from closing.
Making his way past the bookcase, he crept down the secret hall and found a huge cavern, lined with computer equipment and various other oddities. Still bewildered, Grayson didn’t notice that a tall shadowy figure had crept up behind and grabbed him by the scruff of the neck. Struggling futilely, Grayson soon found out who his mystery assailant was; it was none other than the legendary Batman. Struck with disbelief, the young man could only simply stare at the Dark Knight. Setting him down, Batman pulled his cowl off to reveal his identity, none other than Bruce Wayne himself! Telling his young ward to go back to the mansion, Bruce left the Batcave and told him that they would talk in the morning upon his return.
He lived up to his promise,. Bruce saw the darkness and hate that lurked behind the young man’s face and, after a long talk, started to train the young Grayson. Weeks turned into months and soon, Dick Grayson became the first Robin, sidekick to Batman. As he grew older, he became more obsessed with finding the gangster who killed his family, keeping it to himself and not telling his mentor. And then his moment of truth came; one night, patrolling Gotham by himself whilst Batman was out of the city, he managed to find the gangster, now a boss, in the barrens area of Gotham.
Making short work of his thugs and henchmen, he found the gangster and beat him, repeatedly, until he was within an inch of his life. Staring down at the battered underworld figure, Dick let him live, realizing that if he did end the mans life, he would be no better than him. With a quick call to the police, Robin secured him and left. Upon returning to the Batcave, Robin was surprised to find Batman waiting for him., Bruce applauded the boy for his judgment, having secretly followed the young vigilante and observing his actions that night,. Batman at that time told him he had nothing more to teach him. It was during this time that Dick met up with Barbra Gordon, now Batgirl, whom he had a passionate romance with. Although he loved her, Dick couldn’t bear to be with her, the major reason being the tension between himself and Bruce were starting to rise and boil.
All was not well with the team. Grayson felt as if he would always be in Batman’s shadow and wanted to be his own man. One night, after a heated argument, Grayson left, packing up his things and leaving the comforts of Wayne Manor,. Keeping his costume, he met up with some other young hero’s and helped form The Teen Titans. During this time, he met up with the supernatural being known as Raven and sparks flew between the two. . They had a long and heated love affair, but again Dick was unable to commit to her, and she was battling her own inner demons. Still, the pair parted on amiable terms, leaving the possibility of something in the future open. Whilst leading The Teen Titans, Bruce came in his guise as Batman and demanded Dick give up his Robin costume, citing that the costume belonged to him, not Dick. Angry, Dick gave it back to him, now without an identity to fight crime with. All was not lost though. Superman was visiting the Titans one day and noticed how down Dick was. After talking with the young man, the kryptonian told him a story of a vigilante back on his own planet of Krypton, called Nightwing, who fought for the people. Dick instantly fell in love with the name and adopted it as his own. Superman and Nightwing remain close to this day, partly because of that incident and because Superman has an extensive history with Batman and was able to be there for Grayson and give him advice on how to handle the brooding vigilante.
Soon, the Titans disbanded, all going their separate ways. Dick had not the resources to get his own gear, and no mission, Hearing about the crime riddled Bludhaven, Grayson moved there, , entering into the police academy there and earning top honors. If he had to fight crime this way, so be it. He still was not talking to Bruce and was not going to ask or beg for money.
The young man had no need to worry. One day, Alfred showed up at his door, with a file of paperwork. Dick’s parents had an insurance policy, payable upon their death. Bruce’s financial advisor, a veritable wizard with money, had invested the policy into several stocks and bonds. Now, Dick had more money than he knew what to do with, having been set up for several lifetimes. Dick felt some of the tension and anger he had toward Bruce disappear Wasting no time, Dick set out to getting a new costume, and a new hideout. Taking up a black costume with a blue “N” across the chest, a small mask across the eyes to hide his identity. Leaving the cape off his costume, as it interferes with his fighting style. Using his new resources, he purchased a warehouse outside of Bludhaven to hold his equipment and vehicles. He maintained his identity in the police department and juggled his vigilante ID with some difficulty.
During this time, he sought out Bruce, to mend fences with his old mentor and discovered the Dark Knight had taken on a new Robin, the young Tim Drake,. The two immediately hit it off, Tim looking up to Dick as a sort of big brother., and they still keep in contact to this day. Letting the past go, Dick and Bruce mended fences and parted ways.
However, Bludhaven proved to be a difficult challenge. It seemed that unlike Gotham, the corruption in the city started it’s way at the top and went downward, This proved especially frustrating to the vigilante, who would out someone away only to have someone higher up get the person out and have the court case dropped. Still, he kept up with it, doing his best. Then he heard about another place by the name of Empire City which had its fair share of troubles as well. Some more vigilante's and hero's have been showing up in Bludhaven, so he felt more than comfortable with leaving the city in their capable hands, going to where he thought he was needed most.
Packing up shop, Grayson sold his assets in the dark city and moved. He purchased a factory on the outskirts of the city, also buying a small brownstone in the city itself. He is an independent antiquities dealer by day, and the masked vigilante Nightwing by the evening. Here he believes he can make more of a difference It remains to be seen if that pans out to the truth.
Role-playing likes-Playing the “white knight” (no pun intended), seduction and crush scenes. I am REALLY open to a female playing a post Teen Titans Raven and doing an extended play. Combat scenes (one on one or groups) are always a plus with me as well. Private or public play is fine with me, although I would prefer any type of sexually intimate encounters be in private message or a private room. In any play, detail is a much. I am a detail oriented person, so it’s only fair that my partner be as well.
Role-Playing dislikes-Children (lets keep it above 18 shall we?), Incest, toilet, beasts, etc.
Super powers

The vehicle houses a turbo charged Mclaren racing engine,. He has also been known to use a motorcyle (Named the Wing cycle) and occaionally a speed boat. He is also multi lingual and although not on the level with his mentor, has superb intimidation skills. Grayson is arguably the best gymnast in the known world and is the only person ever to have performed a quadruple sommersault. He has surpassed even the Batman in this aspect, and has snuck up on his mentor on occasion.
